Preliminary information

This product is an infrared thermal imager that combines surface temperature measurement with real-time thermal images. Whereas conventional infrared thermometers need to measure each part individually, thermal imaging saves time by eliminating the need for this. Potential problems are clearly shown on the color display, and a center-point measurement cursor quickly and accurately locates and measures the temperature of the target object.

For added visibility, a visible light camera is also included. Both thermal and visible images can be saved to the unit and read via USB or saved to a PC for report generation and printing. The small size, easy operation and high functionality of this product makes it ideal for use in power, electronics manufacturing, industrial inspection and other fields.

  2. Maximum and minimum temperature cursors direct the user to the areas of the thermal image with the highest and lowest temperatures.
  3. Features an optional color palette.

Lens Care

To prevent damage to the IR lens:
Clean the IR lens carefully. The lens has a fine anti-reflective coating.
Do not use force to clean it as this may damage the anti-reflective coating.
Use a cleaning solution for lens care, such as a commercial lens cleaning solution containing alcohol, alcohol, and a lint-free cloth or paper towel. A can of compressed air may be used to remove loose particles.

Cleaning the lens:
A can of compressed air or a dry nitrogen ionization gun (if applicable) can be used to blow particles from the lens surface.
Soak a lint-free cloth in alcohol.
Wring out excess liquid from the cloth or gently apply the lint-free cloth to a dry cloth.
Wipe the lens surface in a circular motion, then discard the cloth.
To repeat the above steps, wipe with a new cloth soaked in liquid.
